KF4GTA Satellite Log

Welcome to the KF4GTA Satellite and Contest Log

KF4GTA QSL CardHello and welcome. I operate most of the FM Amateur Radio satellites from my home grid square of EM80iu in Valdosta, Georgia. I was hooked once I heard my first satellite come over the horizon not only when I predicted, but also where I predicted. There is truly nothing like it.

I have just started to build a catalog of satellite passes in mp3 format. Also, I have just added a new statistics page which helps me keep tally on grids and states that I have worked. I constantly update my online log, so if I have worked you recently, you should find your call in my database. If you can't find yourself in my online log and you are sure that we have made a QSO, please don't hesistate to contact me.

My Satellite station consists of a M2 array with both 2m and 440 antennas. The rotor is an Az/El Yaesu G-5400 controlled by W0LMD's Tracker. I use a variety of radios such as Kenwood's TM-D700a, TM-221a, and TS-430. For handheld operations I use an Arrow Antenna and a Kenwood Th-D7a.
